Mate under Fascinary is rooted in the spirit of two sisters, Christa Berce and Gina Berce Lipor, who set out to create something joyful, community-centered, and meaningful. From the beginning, the goal was to develop a brand that feels personal and inviting — happy yet grounded, vintage-inspired yet fresh, and thoughtfully connected to nature, history, and science.
The visual language draws inspiration from the block prints of Robin Corbo, as well as vintage book covers, botanical forms, and natural history illustrations. Color palette is nature-led, featuring earthy botanical tones complemented by vibrant pops of color that symbolize the blooming energy of spring and new beginnings.
The result is a brand and packaging system that feels liberating and intentional — inviting players into an experience that is both playful and meaningful. What began as a pandemic-fueled curiosity ultimately blossomed into the creation of a board game that explores animal mating behaviors and anatomy through curiosity, creativity, and connection.
